As founder and creative director of Observatory, he leads the creation of design-led content for custom LED environments, projection mapping and broadcast, collaborating with agencies, brands and cultural organisations to deliver ambitious work at monumental scale.

Alongside this commercial practice, Sheppee maintains a fine art profile exploring language, identity and cultural syncretism through experimental typography, generative systems and moving image. Drawing on hundreds of global alphabets, his artworks sit between writing and abstraction, treating letters as visual artefacts rather than fixed symbols.

His work spans concerts, sporting events and public installations as well as exhibitions in galleries and cultural institutions internationally. Across both contexts, he builds visual systems that communicate beyond language, using rhythm, light and form to connect diverse audiences.
