[Text available only in English] Anastasia Kyriakopoulou is an architect with a degree from the Technical University of Crete and a Master’s in Industrial and Service Design from the University of the Aegean. A member of the Association of Greek Valuers and the Technical Chamber of Greece, she is currently pursuing an MSc in Real Estate Management and Investment at Edinburgh Napier University (2023–2025).
She previously led the POIOW Workshop at the Municipality of Athens, earning Gold Awards at the Education Leader Awards in 2019 and 2021. As a researcher, she has contributed to projects in Greece and internationally, focusing on architecture, urban design, and IoT technologies. She has received awards for her thesis and scholarships for IoT research.
Currently, she is a professor at Metropolitan College of Athens, where she leads the History and Theory of Foundation in Art, Design & Media Practice course and teaches the same subject at the BArch (Hons) Architecture level (RIBA Part 1).
