[Text available only in English] Sotirios Ntzoufras is an architect and PhD candidate at the Technical University of Crete (TUC), researching Robotic Swarms in Architecture. A member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, he is a researcher at TUC TIE/Lab and has served as a teaching assistant in architectural design and digital technologies. His work focuses on architectural and structural design, transformable environments, automation systems, and digital tools for Virtual Reality.
He has managed the Makerspace of the Municipality of Athens (TIELab, Stavros Niarchos Foundation), organizing conferences and seminars. He has also developed virtual and augmented reality applications for institutions such as the Municipality of Athens and the Leonteios School. His projects include participation in NASA’s Extra-Terrestrial Habitats on Mars and multiple international design workshops.
Recognized for academic excellence, he has received scholarships, 17 publications, 6 architecture and education awards, 2 distinctions in international competitions, and 6 participations in exhibitions.
