[Text nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar] Codfish.Studio is a creative collective and multidisciplinary design studio founded by Raffaele Menicacci and Francesca Dialmi, working in the fields of media art, audiovisual design, and interactive systems. The studio's research focuses on the relationship between image and sound through the development of multimedia installations, generative visuals, and audiovisual environments that combine digital languages, visual processing, and interaction.
Their collaborative journey began in 2025 with the design and production of multimedia installations for events and performance contexts, VJ performances, and visual direction for music projects. This initial phase of applied experimentation led to the formal establishment of Codfish.Studio in 2026 as an independent creative research and production studio.
The collective's approach is rooted in the founders' academic background in Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts of Frosinone, complemented by Francesca Dialmi's specialization in Multimedia Communication Design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples.
Their research spans visual system design, procedural image generation, and experimentation with interactive technologies, with particular attention to the relationship between audio signals, visual parameters, and the behavior of digital systems. By integrating software, audiovisual devices, and generative processes, Codfish.Studio explores the potential of creating immersive experiences and dynamic visual environments in which image, sound, and space come together to form a unified expressive language.
