[Text nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar] 'data decay' uses scientific research data (from french CNRS research labs) to generate interactive audio and video. The stream of data is then transformed/decayed via custom data processing modules in order to deform and degrade the interactive audiovisual relationship, eventually making it 'un-interactive'.
The piece was premiered in the USA as an installation at SXSW interactive in Austin, and as a performance at Harvestworks in NYC in March 2010.

Was wird benötigt
-one video projector with a vga cable that reaches the stage.
-any cables/DI boxes/adapters necessary to patch one stereo feed (2 mono 1/4 inch jacks) into the house sound system.
-room must be as dark as possible, sounds must be fairly loud with capacity to diffuse very high and very low frequencies (from 35hz-18khz minimum)
