DARK MATTER (The space in between) is an audiovisual project inspired by the Dark Matter theory studied by astronomer Vera Rubin.
The project explores in a synesthetic way the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, the real with the mysterious, the spatial with the earthly, Science with Art.

The images are generated from the sound waves in order to give them visibility and thus be able to appreciate them.
However, these same images invite the viewer to focus their attention on the interstices, the darkness, the space in the middle... the dark matter.

The project focus on the technical aspects of sound visualization, the audio-visual relationships and the processes
of converting data into images.

The sound creation is composed of generative sounds complemented with glitches and modulated synthetic textures.
The images were produced by computer algorithms that are manipulated and transformed in real time by reacting with audio.
