He has had a lifelong love and devotion to music. It is his passion and key to his innermost expression and joy. He has worked on his craft since childhood, learning to play guitar, bass and keyboards at a young age. Many influences, including those from studies of communication, semiotics and electronic music, gradually converged in a synthesis of different genres into his distinct and clear sound. Collaboration with SceneMusic Records led to his debut album which was distributed in vinyl and digital format by Goodfellas. While working on his album debut, he performed in popular music clubs in Rome such as Monk, Bibliotechina and Ex Dogana (Spring Attitude Festival 2017 Preview). These performances were warmly welcomed and he has become one of the residents at Generator Rome. iLinx’s music is a projection of personal and intense images of the artist. This is reflected in his performances where is possible to find elements of electronics, beat, deep, techno and patterns which represent his individual style. The term “iLinx” refers to a pattern of play (identified by the noted sociologist Roger Caillois) associated with the momentary destruction of perception. It can be vertigo, dizziness, or disorienting changes in direction of movement (swing, luna park) induced to momentarily destroy the stability of perception and inflict a kind of voluptuous panic upon an otherwise lucid mind. In all cases, it is a question of surrendering to the pleasure of spasm, seizure, or shock which destroys reality with sovereign brusqueness. This impulse is brought to life in iLinx’s debut album, “Inner”. It is a hybrid of hard emotions and poignant feelings - unique in its genre - where the coexistence of analog and digital sounds, real and sampled voices creates an innovative style. iLinx turns passionate restlessness into a constant and authentic regeneration.
