[Text nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar] BliTzLaB # 1: The Performance Audio-visual installation and live performance: interaction between digital art and contemporary dance. Surf the buzz of leaf lettuce, fly over oceanic ridges, sink into the magic of liquids, tie hands, mouth and legs, dress the view with pepper sauce and balsamic vinegar, travel between strength of the sign and sign of the text, between light of the gesture and aural light. Everything will happen in the same space-time, in a unique dance. The meaning? not one, maybe none, maybe so many ... Will decide who will dive in this environment. Does it all sound as a nonsense to you? Better way: will be a chance to discover 'senses': disoriented senses, perhaps shocked, dazed but alive, feelings and perceptions on the move, memories, associations and needs. Surf, fly, dive, dress, enlight and illuminate. It is full of action the world created in the space-time of our dance.

BliTzLaB # 1: The Performance is the result of an intensive practical and creative workgroup exploring the relationship between performative art and digital art. The idea of such a workgroup came from Domenico Sciajno, musician and composer active in the field of mixed media, who has developed a method for coordinating the various disciplines involved through an interdisciplinary score. After gathering toghether the involved artists went into a brief theoretical and conceptual premise, then immediately entered in the practice of developing strategies and performative interaction through the interdisciplinary interpretation of the score. The result is an immersive environment, derived from the synergy of original digital processing techniques emerged from the strong performative and interpretative involvements. This architecture is therefore supported by an interdisciplinary ensemble of 'digital' performers and inhabited by a performer who will cross it through her body and her movement: the dancer Alessandra Luberti.

The digital ensemble BliTzLaB # 1 consists of 10 artists, eight of whom perform live with their computer: Joseph Mendolia Calella: development and graphic composition in real time | Vincent Amari: sound processing in real time | Laura Cantale: word processing and graphic composition | Annamaria Craparotta: light sensors to control the sound | Agnes Faulisi: digital microscope and processing Video | Alessandro Lo Cascio: geo satellite video editing | Maria Pia Rizzo: shooting and processing video in real time | Fiona Volquardsend: photo-digital image processing | Domenico Sciajno: conduction, interdisciplinary design and score | Alessandra Luberti: conduction, choreography and dance
